FOURTH: V Festival 2014 will see Las Vegas rockers The Killers headline the event for a fourth time
Tickets for this year’s V Festival are now on general sale (9am, March 7).
The general release comes after the residents of Essex, where the festival’s main location is based, were given a special pre-sale link to purchase their tickets yesterday – a day before the rest of the country.
This year’s event will take place across the weekend of August 16 and 17 at Hylands Park in Essex, and also at its sister location at Weston Park in Shropshire.
Solo act of 2013 Justin Timberlake is set to headline V 2014, alongside indie-rockers The Killers, who return to headline the festival for a fourth time.
The two headliners lead a line-up of similarly popular acts, including Lily Allen, Ed Sheeran, Bastille, Rudimental and Paolo Nutini. Other acts such as Example, Tom Odell, Sub Focus, Sam Smith, Rizzle Kicks, Jason Derulo, John Newman and Chase & Status will also be performing. More names are due to be added to the bill in the lead up to this year’s event.
Tickets for the event are priced at £200 plus handling fees for a two day camping ticket, whilst individual day tickets are priced at £100.
