Hello again, we’re entering my favourite seasons now: autumn and winter and this year, we’ve seen some supreme outfits from our favourite people in fame. So without further ado, here’s September to get us started.

September marks the start of School, College and University for most of us and the panic of what to wear to all of our classes, nights out and day events. Eek! Luckily, we’ve got enough inspiration to last us the rest of the year thanks to these lot…

Claire Danes is hot on our screens right now because of her role in the TV show that has everyone on the edge of their seats: Homeland. For The Emmy Awards that took place in September, Claire wore an Armani Privé dress from their Autumn/Winter 2013-14 collection. I could understand why there would be a lot of criticism towards Claire’s choice of dress. Her blonde hair, with slightly tanned skin and the pale nude/beige of the dress might be a bit of overkill. But I disagree completely. Claire manages to bring summer into autumn with the colour and material of the dress, the lace brings out the classic behind Claire’s style, while the make-up brings some extra colour into the look. Also, that faux bob? Hello hair trend!

Glee star, Dianna Agron, attended the New York premiere for her new film The Family, wearing and Osman top and skirt and Christian Louboutin heels. Monochrome madness is something I cannot tear away from. While I’m not a huge fan of white on myself, the idea of mixing it with my favourite colour, black, is very sixties and very cool. Dianna works the monochrome very well with her tanned hair and semi-laidback up-do. She’s always been a feminine kind of girl when it comes to fashion and style, but this puts femininity in the mix with masculinity, which is something that is also extremely on trend this Autumn/Winter.

The thing I love most about October is Halloween. It’s the chance to dress up a little wackier than usual for one night and see what on earth our favourite celebrities wear. Heidi Klum, darling, I’m looking at you. For others like Lady Gaga, Halloween is every day.

Jennifer Garner, star of that film 13 Going On 30, attended the Save the Children Gala in New York, hosted by Calvin Klein, wearing one of their gorgeously simple LBD’s. If anybody is a sucker for a Little Black Dress, it’s me, so that’s why I’ve chosen Jennifer’s outfit for the first of my two October favourites. Most of the choices have included a lot of black, but I like this because it shows what Autumn and Winter is about: wearing dark colours, classic and mysterious at the same time. I love the combo with laidback hair and pale pink lips.

Fabulous actress, Carey Mulligan, attended the premiere for one of her new films Inside Lleywn Davis in New York wearing a gorgeous Alexander McQueen dress. I love the golden detailing around the neck of the halter-next dress, which means you don’t need to pile a load of accessories to dress it up – Alexander McQueen has that down. The cut-out detailing is something I’ve seen a lot on the high street and while I’m not too sure about this particular trend, I love it on Carey. Well done, girl!

November means that the fun of Halloween is over and it’s the awkward middle part before Christmas, which we all hate. Fashion Month of September is over and the hustle and bustle of trying to be able to afford new trends happens this month, and to most of our dismay – the new wardrobe will have to wait. Just me? Okay then… It also saw the triumphant premiere of Jennifer Lawrence’s new pixie hair do – we LOVE!

The opening of J Brand in London saw Britain in a flurry to get their hands on anything by the American brand, and to celebrate, the brand hosted their own dinner for celebrities to attend and get all dressed up. Portia Freeman, a gorgeous British model, attended the dinner wearing J Brand. She looked great in a simple pair of black, rolled up skinnies and T-bar heels – but what do I love most? Is the pink velvet t-shirt that really brings the smart in smart/casual and the wow in ‘wow I’m so jealous’. Portia’s hair, in a loose up-do is a great way to show off as much of that perfect t-shirt as possible.

While a lot of fashion-lovers are still obsessing with Cara Delevingne – myself included – I have become even more obsessed with another young British model. A lot of people, single-mindedly, might know her as being Bradley Cooper’s girlfriend, the other half of us know Suki Waterhouse as an incredible model with a gorgeous face and an incredible sense of style. Suki attended the launch of London Style Suits with Stylebop.com in LA wearing a powerfully pink combination of an Emilia Wickstead jacket and matching skirt from her spring/Summer 2014 collection. From seeing a lot of Suki’s 2013 style, she’s a huge fan of the midi-skirt and it’s safe to say that they sit on her so well. The pink shoes with the outfit could be considered as a bit too much pink – but on Suki? It’s almost not enough. With her hair pulled out of her face and her makeup natural and fresh, it’s no wonder that Suki is a modern, feminine style icon.

Oh, hello December! Here we are. In a month where the weather might actually be colder than my freezer, the fashion is better than ever. The British Fashion Awards 2013 was a particularly huge event not only in December, but for the fashion world as well as, yes, I know, Beyonce’s surprise album being the number one album in over 100 countries worldwide. What a surprise indeed…

At the British Fashion Awards, actress and French beauty, Clémence Poésy attended the event wearing a black Erdem dress with lime green, grey and black floral detailing. It’s a dress that screams cool winter fashion. Also, nobody suits berry lips and a tight up-so more than Clémence, who has cheekbones to die for. While I know her for her minor role in Gossip Girl, others know her from her part in Harry Potter, but the actress never fails to deliver in fashion and in acting. What a winner!

Last, but certainly not least, in December and in my Spotted: Best of 2013 is British Rose and actress, Felicity Jones. Known for her main role in the awesome flick, Chalet Girl, whom she starred alongside my ultimate celebrity Crush, Ed Westwick, Felicity has gone from strength to strength – especially in style. Felicity attended the premiere for The Invisible Woman in New York at the beginning of December, wearing a white sleeveless dress and hot pink heels. It’s a great look on her against her pale skin and dark brown hair. She’s a great addition to the fashion industry and I hope that 2014 is filled with many more of her great acting skills and great wardrobe.

That’s it for 2013 in the terms of style and…, er… months, but it’s been a great year of fashion, style and upcoming icons. 2014 is going to be a good one!
