Fashion month is almost over for another season. Boo! But the Oscars are just around the corner, so our burst of fashion isn’t over just yet. Woo! This week’s Spotted is focused on three ladies of film who are making it big this year: Lupita Nyong’o, Jena Malone and Mélanie Laurent. Let’s get to it!

Lupita Nyong’o, who is nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award at this years Oscars graced the Essence’s Black Women in Hollywood lunch this week wearing a gorgeous Gianbattista Valli two-piece and matching white Sophia Webster heels. Nobody loves a coordinating outfit more than me, and Lupita pulls it off with such glamour and style, creating an effortless yet perfect outfit for a luncheon event. Is there anything that Lupita doesn’t look good in? Nope. That would be near impossible!

Next is Hunger Games: Catching Fire star Jena Malone who was seen at the Vanity Fair Young Hollywood party wearing a totally edgy outfit by Roksanda Illinic from her Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Jena, who plays the fiery Johanna Mason in The Hunger Games series, looks great in orange considering her pale skin. The shade is a great match with the black high waisted trousers and shoes and the draping detail of the side of the top gives is that uniqueness from other cropped tops. With reddish/orange lipstick and a volumised side parting, Jena is ready to show us what she’s made of.

Last but not least is my best dressed of this week, which is dedicated to French actress Mélanie Laurent who has made quite the fashionable appearance this year. At the premiere for Aloft, at this years Berlinale Film Festival, Mélanie proves to be quite the French beauty in a gorgeous blush gown by one of my favourite haute couture designers: Elie Saab. The gown looks great on Mélanie, even with the also blush makeup in pale shades of pink and gold. With her hair up in a loose middle parted style, Mélanie makes sure that the fashion crowd have all their crazy eyes on her gorgeous gown. Perfection!

See you next week!
