art2Fine art students braved January’s arctic weather conditions for 24 hours in the name of DMU Big Draw.

The group of undergraduate students camped outside DMU’s Campus Centre from 10am on Thursday, January 22 until 10am the following morning in order to raise funds for their degree show.

One participant, Emmer Cooksey, said: “we all look homeless.”

Throughout the night, students created artwork in hope of raising £4,000 needed to put on their end of year show.

The money will go towards a catalogue illustrating their work to be presented to potential employers, academics, family and friends.
