HOPE WorldWide UK charity are putting on their annual Leicester based fund raising event.

The Leicester volunteers of the charity will be hosting a Retro Themed 80’s and 90’s night at the Y Theatre, East Street, Leicester called “Ain’t It Funky” on Saturday 6th February. Doors open from 7pm.

The charity has run homeless, youth and drug rehabilitation programmes around the UK for many years. You can find out more about the charity here: http://www.hopeworldwide.org.uk/

The event taking place on 6th will featured a giant screen projecting a ‘Just Dance’ themed game, a retro arcade games zone from the era of Pac-Man and Space Invaders. Installed will be a ‘Funky Photo’ area and an Old School Tuck Shop with everyone’s favourite childhood sweets.

Speaking of pick and mix: There will be a huge mix of music from the 80’s and 90’s so make sure you bring your retro clubbing gear (neon is acceptable)!

The big question is, are you funky enough?

Advance tickets are a must because this family friendly event will sell out!

There will be a £2 surcharge on the door. Adults: £7. Students and Concessions: £5. Under 10s: £2.

Profits will be donated to Hope WorldWide UK – Registered Charity no. 1045930.
