With over 80 stalls, featuring the latest vegan food, beauty products, clothing and more, Leicester Vegan Festival is coming to Knighton Tennis Centre next month.

Organised by Vegan Events UK, this year’s annual event on Sunday May 9 will take place outside, and showcases the very best of vegan goods, including world food caterers like Greek Vegan Deli and VDogs. With plenty of exciting new foods to try, there is guaranteed to be something to suit everyone whether you are already a vegan, or you’re just curious to see what’s on offer!

Food aside, there are numerous ways to learn about the vegan way of living, from inspirational talks to information stalls. Greenpeace and Leicester Vegetarian & Vegan Group are just a handful of the leading charities and not-for-profit organisations who shall be in attendance this year.

The festival is organised by Victoria Bryceson, who runs animal welfare charity Miracles Mission. All money raised from the Leicester fair and all other events across the year are donated to the non-profit to help sick, injured and difficult animals.

From students to families, everyone is welcome to enjoy this popular event, where entry is £4 payable on the day (under 16’s free). VIP tickets are also available in advance from Eventbrite, which includes fast track entry and a goody bag full of vegan products, samples, discounts and offers. Visit their website and Facebook event for more details.

Leicester Vegan Festival will take place from 10.30am until 4.30pm outside at Knighton Tennis Centre and is subject to strict social distancing measures.
