Four men have been arrested after a mother of two was shot dead in Leicestershire.
The men, aged 24, 25, 29 and 30, were arrested ‘in the West Midlands’ on Monday and all have been bailed.
Hayley Pointon was found dead at a house in Hinckley in early February.
Detective Chief Inspector of Leicestershire Police, Tony Yarwood, said: “Despite the arrests we have made today, and previously, our inquiries in to the incident are very much ongoing.”
Mr Yarwood was referring to two previous arrests of men aged 29 and 34, also in connection with the shooting. Both were bailed pending further enquiries.
Mr Yarwood continued: “Two young children have lost their mother and Hayley’s family are desperate for anyone with information to come forward and they, like us, believe someone out there can help.”
