The 41st Wrestlemania is fast approaching and will surely be one of the best wrestling events of the year. Nothing has been announced but we can make some good guesses on what matchups may happen, and it’s sure to be great.

After the roaring success of Wrestlemania 40, which garnered over 660 million views over social media, they will be looking to create the same drama and attention to try and break the records once again. But who will be involved?

After announcing his retirement in 2024, John Cena will be looking to go out on top at his last ever Wrestlemania. However, he will have to go through the Elimination Chamber if he wants a chance at glory. If he is too advanced, there is potential for a title fight against undisputed champion Cody Rhodes.

There will be many people trying to get that same prize. Cody Rhodes will have been an undisputed champion for a year by the time Wrestlemania comes around, and the chance to fight him is on the line at the elimination chamber. Former friend Seth Rollins is eager to face Cody at Wrestlemania this year.

That is not the only match-up that Seth Rollins may be in for. WWE is planning for a three-way match between CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins. Both Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have had a long-running rivalry that has never had a satisfying conclusion but could come to an end this year.

After winning the Royal Rumble, Jey Uso seems destined to fight against World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther. Despite having history with Cody Rhodes which could entice Uso, a championship match against the champion could be his best chance to take the title.

On the women’s side, there are two champion matches on the line. The current Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton, will be defending her title at the upcoming event. She is heavily rumoured to be going against Charlotte Flair. After she won the Royal Rumble, it is a safe bet that she will be the one to take on Stratton. If Tiffany Stratton is to win, it could be what catapults her into being a huge star.

Current Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has beaten the majority of the big hitters on the roster. In need of a new challenge, Alexa Bliss could be next in line for a chance to take down the champ. Despite not winning, she made a great comeback after not being in the ring for two years. After signing a new five-year contract with WWE, it may be the right time to give her a title fight.

Despite an appearance at Wrestlemania 40, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will reportedly not be appearing at this year’s event.

However, much to most people’s displeasure, Logan Paul may find his way into the event. To what capacity he will be involved if he is there is unknown. He was rumoured for a match against John Cena but that has since died down. One thing is for sure, if he is there be prepared to see a whole lot of promotion of Prime on the broadcast.

As we get closer to the event, we will know the match-ups, but if rumours are true, it is going to be a historical event.

Wrestlemania takes place from Saturday, 19 April, to Sunday, 20 April.
