Following on from Monday’s best dressed men: Game of Thrones special, we give you the best dressed actresses behind the popular HBO series.

It is now only three days until the season four premiere of Game of Thrones, Where the characters we love and love to hate come back to our screens. It is fair to say that between Anna Landi and me, we cannot wait to see where Emilia Clarke’s character (Daenerys Targaryen) goes now. In the last season her dragons grew bigger, she got her army and is now on her way to Westeros to seek revenge on the Lannisters. Emilia Clarke’s character is the feistiest and sassiest out of all the female characters in the series, so it is Emilia I start with.

It is safe to say that Emilia’s red carpet and everyday style is more lavish than her outfits she wears for the Game of Thrones the series. At the Golden Globes earlier this year, Emilia graced the red carpet in a beautiful embroidered custom made lace Proenza Shouler gown. The dress was perfectly tailored to her body, showing off her curves in all the right places.  Back in January this year Emilia looked hot in pink at the Tory Burch Rodeo Drive flagship opening in Beverly Hills. Emilia matched the pink jacket with a black and white strip tee with a collar, a dainty clutch and black trousers.

Next is Sophie Turner who plays one of the remaining Starks, Sansa Stark. Sophie’s character who has experienced a lot of lows and not so many highs in the series, is just as glamorous in real life as her character in GOT.  Sophie Turner graced the SAG awards earlier this year in a gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana gown. The gown flowed off her slender body perfectly, and was fabulously styled with her smokey eyes and her curly auburn locks. Posing for her feature in Glamour’s April issue, Sophie also rocked the floral and striped look effortlessly.

Thirdly is the feisty red head Rosie Leslie who plays Wildling Ygritte. Making her appearance in the second season, Rosie’s character, Ygritte has gone from strength to strength. Proving that simplicity is best, Rosie wore an elegant, pleated little black dress, which complimented her gorgeous ginger hair and rosy cheeks.  Rosie turned it up a notch for the New York season four premiere of the show, wearing an elegant white gown, with gold accessories.
