The sheer volume of shows at Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival can be quite daunting. There’s so much great comedy on offer that it can be difficult to know where to begin! You want to see people you know from the TV and their tour shows, there are up and coming talents you want to take a chance on, then there are those shows that everyone’s talking about but you haven’t got a clue whether they’re even comedy. This daily guide is my attempt at helping you plan a brilliant three weeks of festival.

It’s Day One of Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival! What better way to start your festival than Live at Level 1 at DSU? The show will feature DMU Comedy Society veterans David Murphy and Ricky Lount, along with professional acts. This combination of local acts and established talent is a perfect microcosm of the festival.
