BID Leicester has launched ‘Independent Leicester’, a new exciting campaign in partnership with local independent businesses. It was designed to encourage consumers to shop local and explore Leicester’s independent scene. The businesses involved in this campaign will be displaying the “We’re in” logo in their windows, so customers know they are supporting an independent shop by visiting it. To celebrate the launch of this initiative, they have created an “Ultimate Independents Weekend” competition package. It is on offer for one lucky winner and a guest. In order to enter the competition, all you have to do is sign up to their e-newsletter. You have until midnight on 13 October to enter.
The prize includes overnight accommodation at St Martins Lodge; a Chocolate Workshop at Cocoa Amore; shopping vouchers for SET and Pilot; treatments at Femi Beauty; a goodie bag from Harriman & Co; bottle of bubbles courtesy of Exchange Bar; a private whiskey tasting at 23 Wine & Whiskey, plus delicious meals and treats from James Café Bistro, Gelato Village, King Richard III Pub & Chophouse and Queen Victoria Arts Club.
