KISS, Slipknot and Muse have been unveiled as the headliners for next years Download Festival in Donnington Park which takes place from June 12th – 14th.

KISS will close the festival’s Sunday night with main support coming from Motley Crue who have confirmed that it will be their final UK festival appearance as the band are set to disband in 2016.

Slash, Enter Shikari, Judas Priest, Faith No More and Marilyn Manson have all also been confirmed for the heavy rock and metal festival much to the excitement of all their prospective fans.

Speaking about the bands headline slot, KISS’ Gene Simmons made the groups intentions for their slot clear:

He said: ‘To all our fans – our intention is to get on that stage, blow the heavens to smithereens and take no prisoners.’

Last year Download Festival was graced by the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and Aerosmith.
