DM<U Graduate Champions at their pop-up shop at the Highcross.Enterprising students have had success with pop up shops in Leicester city centre.

DMU’s Graduate Champions Scheme is an organisation whose purpose it is to assist DMU graduates gain jobs and vital employability skills.

Alongside this organisation, Spring to Action is a Leicester company that also focuses on laying the first foundation for graduates to acquire recognition within the employability sector.

The two prosperous organisations joined forces and organised four distinct businesses on Shires Lane.

The #RememberMe team played a crucial element in the success of the companies present in the store.

This organisation assembled their very own photography business, with the sole aim of capturing people’s significant moments of people’s lives.

The pop-up store consisted of Polaroid pictures and working together, the group utilised their skills in generating sales, all of which went towards charities which help Dementia and Alzheimer’s sufferers.

This inventive idea originated from Zubair Satwilkar after his uncle was diagnosed with Dementia.

He commented: “With the recent diagnosis of my uncle this all feels very personal to me, he’s something of an inspiration to our family and it made me want to raise money and awareness.
