It’s nearly that time of year where our societies at our get together to appreciate and celebrate the hard-working efforts, talents and commitment of societies at this year’s DSU Societies Awards Evening 2015. The evening is promised to be exciting with the chance for students to unwind as we approach the end of the academic year!
Ran by the Volunteering and Societies Office, manager Tom Nicholls and coordinator Emma wright will be hosting the evening. Be sure not to miss out on this annual celebration of our societies and committees’ work endurance for the enhancement of our University culture here at DMU! Truly a time to interact and engage yourself with our several societies operating at DSU, possibly even inspiring you to join one! We welcome all!
Situated at Leicester City’s King Power, Football Stadium, on 22 April at 7-11pm, tickets are being sold at £15. This fee includes drinks on arrival, a two-course dinner, an awards ticket, prize raffle entries and free entry to the after-party afterwards too. Talk about getting treated and entertained very well, right?
Vice President of Student Activities, Steve Burrell, personally expresses his love and passion for this upcoming evening as “a final farewell to some before our exams, and a relaxing opportunity to unwind from revision stress and worries.”
