The HBO series Game of Thrones has become one of the most talked about and popular TV series over the past few years. Entering in its Fourth series next week we take a look at the best dressed actors behind the characters we love and hate ( if they’ve not been killed off already in the series).

As it is Menswear Monday we first take a look at the best dressed male actors from the series starting with Kit Harrington.

Kit Harrington is a British actor who has risen to fame playing one of GOT’s main characters Jon Snow.  Since his defining role as Snow, he has been cast in the upcoming film Pompeii and How to Train your Dragon Two. Kit seems to be a little less rugged and dressed all in black and medieval outfits in real life, but his long curly hair still remains. Kit dons the Grunge look in his photo shoot with GQ and poses for the camera at the BAFTAS in LA in a Riviera inspired combination.

Next up is/was king of the North Rob Stark who is played by the Scottish actor, Richard Madden. Madden. Richard has previously appeared in the BBC adaptation of Birdsong and the channel 4 series Sirens. For those of you who have not yet seen the previous series of GOT I shall not divulge in any spoilers about the character of Rob Stark, instead I shall move on to Richard’s own personal style and away from the costumes he has to wear for the series. Pictured with his girlfriend, Doctor Who star Jenna Coleman, Richard looks dapper in a classic black and white tux combo at last year’s HBO red carpet season three premiere of Game of Thrones.  Posing for an article featured in the magazine Esquire is Richard with his on screen half-brother Kit Harrington who both look mighty dapper in their contrasting tuxedos. Richard pictured right proves that white is not the only option when choosing a shirt to go with a tux and bow tie. Kit on the other hand has the edge on Richard, wearing a black and gold checked tuxedo jacket.

Joe Dempsie who plays Gendry in GOT, is perhaps better known for his role as Chris from the first two series of Skins. Joe Dempsie much like his character Gendry is the underdog, with his versatile style and effortless styling. Joe is pictured below in a striking blue suit at the Esquire and Jimmy choo opening night of London Collections: Men last year. Joe was featured as one of GQ’s best dressed men last year, donning the vintage look effortlessly, making a change from the leather skirts his character wears in GOT.
