Last year, The Mail Online reported that designer Sophie Webster accused Nasty Gal of copying her clutch bag designs. The UK-based shoe and accessories designer didn’t take this lying down as she cheekily posted a photo of Nasty Gal’s WTF Bag on Instagram captioning, ‘Nice Try @NastyGal #COPYCAT #SpeechBubbleClutch.’
Sophie Webster’s clutches included the iconic BLAH BLAH BLAH clutch bag made from real leather. Nasty Gal released arrange of clutches at £48, which heavily resembled Webster’s designs.
Looks pretty similar to me don’t you think?
As if that wasn’t enough, last year once again, Nasty Gal where also accused of stealing independent designer Spinello’s necklace design. Now this one is beyond ridiculous take a look for yourself:
It seems Nasty Gal have been back at their old tricks again this time ripping off a Moschino design. The Fashion Law twitter account posted this recently:

We all love to look like we stepped out the runway on a retail budget, but copying designers designs is not only damaging to the fashion industry, but also shows a lack of originality. Stealing deisgns from regional boutique designers is highly unethical.
Yes I know they say ‘imitation is the sinceriest form of flattery’ but there is a fine line between copying and stealing, and Nasty Gal seem to be getting the line blurred.
